Will you be joining us this winter semester? Each semester is 7 weeks long (unless stated) and will meet once a week. See below for available classes and dates. Registration will open on December 5th. All ceramic classes will begin on the week of January 12th.

Mondays

Intermediate Wheel Throwing Classes with Nerea from 6:30PM-9:30PM

Take your skills to another level. In this 7 weeks course you will be receiving personalized instruction to perfect your craft. Perfect for those with experience who want to level up and be challenged. Weekly group classes run year-round in 5 semesters, with each semester lasting 7 weeks. Class meets once a week for 3 hours, with up to 10 students per class.

Tuesdays

Introduction to Hand Building classes with Maria from 6:00PM-9:00PM

Hand building with clay is a wonderful beginner's introduction to ceramics. This class will focus on creating a variety of pottery forms by using techniques of working with clay without the use of the pottery wheel. Fundamental hand building methods will include slab building, coil building, and pinching. Learn the basics needed to make your own functional and decorative ceramic objects from start to finish. No prior experience needed to join this class.

Wednesdays

Introduction to Wheel Throwing classes with Nerea from 9:30AM-12:20PM

Learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing over the course of 7 weeks. You'll learn wedging, centering, throwing, trimming and glazing. Perfect for beginners and those with experience. Weekly group classes run year-round in 5 semesters, with each semester lasting 7 weeks. Class meets once a week for 3 hours, with up to 10 students per class.

Youth Classes with Nerea from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM

This 7-week class offers young artists the opportunity to explore their creativity while experiencing the messy fun of clay. Through open-ended clay play, students will learn the fundamentals of working with clay, including coil building, pinching, slab techniques, and an introduction to wheel throwing. They’ll also explore glazing and surface design to bring their pieces to life. No prior experience is needed—this class is open to all skill levels.

4 Week Ceramic Class with Nerea from 6:30PM-9:30PM

Over the course of 4 weeks, you'll be introduced to the fundamental techniques of wheel throwing, including wedging, centering, throwing, and trimming. We will culminate with glazing. Designed for beginners as well as those with previous pottery experience. This course is a project-based format with some room for personal touches. By the end of the course you will have a minimum of 4 finished pieces and lots of new skills. You will have to come back to glaze you final piece 1 more time after the 4 week are over.

Fridays

Duo’s Night Workshop with Maria from 7PM-9PM every two weeks

This one-time, 2-hour pottery wheel workshop is perfect for duos looking to try out some clay play for the first time! This class is open to couples, friends, and family. No prior experience is required and all materials are provided. Open to adults and highschool age students. Students may sign up in pairs, with up to 8 students per class.

Saturdays

Introduction to Ceramics with Nerea from 9:30AM-12:30PM

Then we move onto wheel throwing, learning techniques such as wedging, centering and trimming. Perfect for beginners and those with experience. Weekly group classes run year-round in 5 semesters, with each semester lasting 7 weeks. Class meets once a week for 3 hours, with up to 10 students per class.

Open Studios

This time slot is reserved for current students and last semester's students to have practice time and work on their projects. This is not a class, but an instructor will be on site for any questions you may have.

    Workshops are spontaneous and low-commitment—perfect for trying out a craft before committing to a full semester. They also make a fun and creative date with a friend or partner!

  • Private Lessons

    Private lessons offer one-on-one time with an instructor in the studio. Private group lessons are also available for friends, families, or teams looking to create together.
