Discover our Textiles Studio, where weaving and textile arts come to life. With over 15 looms, passionate instructors, and hands-on workshops, we offer a welcoming space for students of all levels to learn textile art.

Textile Class Offerings

  • 4-Week Intro to Rope Coil and Twine Basket Making Class
    Tuesday Evenings, September 29th- October 20th, 6:30PM-9:30PM, $280

    Explore the ancient art of basket making in this hands-on class. Students will learn two basket making techniques: Rope coiled basketry and twining basketry. You’ll learn to build sturdy, sculptural baskets from the base up. No experience necessary. All materials are provided. All supplies included.

  • 6-Week Rigid Heddle Weaving: The Cozy Scarf


    Thursday Morning, October 15th-November 19th, 10am-1pm, $420

    Learn the fundamentals of rigid heddle weaving while creating a cozy, wearable scarf. We’ll cover warping the loom and weaving techniques.This is a great introduction to rigid heddle loom weaving. By the end, you’ll have a finished scarf to enjoy all season long. We provide the looms and vertical warp yarn for weaving. Please bring 150 yards of worsted or chunky weight yarn to class for the horizontal weft yarn in your scarf.

    4-Week Kids & Teens Textile Class

    Thursday Afternoons, October 22-November 12, 4:15PM-6:15PM, $235


    Explore the fun world of weaving and textile arts in this engaging class. Student crafters will create a beautiful collection of handmade treasures such as skinny scarf, mini-tapestry, wet-felted hearts. Each project builds foundational craft skills in a fun and dynamic studio class.

  • 4-Week Intro to Weaving Class

    Friday Morning, October 16th-November 6, 10AM-1PM, $280


    New students will weave a small tapestry wall hanging and a skinny scarf on a simple rigid heddle back strap loom. All materials are provided for new students, however, if you have yarn you would like to use please bring it to class. Experienced students can take on larger projects such as table runners, large scale tapestries, baby blankets, and cozy winter wraps.

  • 6-Week Saturday Morning: All Level Weaving Class

    Saturday Morning, October 17th-November 21st, 10am-1pm, $420

    New students will weave a scarf on a rigid heddle back strap loom and weave a small tapestry wall hanging. All materials are provided for new students, however, if you have yarn you would like to use please bring it to class. Experienced students can take on larger projects such as table runners, large scale tapestries, baby blankets, and cozy winter wraps.
