Monthly Textile Workshops
Every 3rd Thursday evening of the Month from 6:30-8:30
Grab your friends and join us for a creative night out! Each week, artist Chelsea Danburg introduces a fresh textile technique — no experience needed, just curiosity and good company.
Featured Project of the Month
December- felt gingerbread people .
January- wet felt hearts (to be ready for Valentine’s Day)
February- woven twine baskets.
March- mini woven tapestries
April- hand stitched treasure bag with button closure
May- woven book marks- “for all your summer beach reads”
June- hand stitched canvas beach bag. We will start in class, students can finish at home.
Additional Class Time
This time slot is reserved for current students and last semester's students to have practice time and work on their projects. This is not a class, but an instructor will be on site for any questions you may have. Textiles open studio will take place on:
Wednesdays 6:30pm-9:30pm
Thursday and Friday 9:30am-12:30pm
Saturday 10am-1pm
Refurbishing and Demos
The textiles department at Studio Andreas also specializes in refurbishing antique spinning wheels and can provide educational demonstrations to historical centers and docents. Please reach out to our spinning instructor, Mark Nowotarski at:

Weaving and Textile Art Classes
Join our 7-week textile arts class and explore the art of weaving, felting, and hand stitching. Beginners will craft a collection of handmade objects from different fibers and fabrics — from woven bookmarks and twine baskets to felted sculptures and stitched accessories. Experienced students can expand their skills in weaving, rug hooking, or yarn spinning with longer and more advanced projects. All equipment and materials provided for beginning projects.
